Rossana Inés Rossi was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in a home where the everyday, supermarket ingredients found in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY were used as gentle treatments for illness and injuries. She surprised herself in high school when she "discovered" that these remedies would successfully heal her friends as well. She continued to advise their use to her friends, schoolmates, and coworkers. She enjoyed this type of counseling so much that she chose to develop it as her career. 

Rossana became certified as a Holistic Health Counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She is fully insured and holds membership with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Rossana has spent a lifetime of personal study in the traditional and medicinal use of herbs and food, and formally studied the Wise Woman tradition of herbal healing with Robin Rose Bennett. She received her second attunement in Reiki with Celeste Bradley of Intuitive Healing, studied Cherokee Bodywork with Lewis Mehl-Madrona, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) with Stephanie Alston-Nero.

Scholastically, Rossana Inés Rossi is a proud graduate of Oberlin College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art; The Mountain School in Vershire, VT; Milton Academy in Milton, MA; Prep for Prep 9 in New York, NY; and Philippa Schuyler Middle School for the Gifted and Talented (I.S. 383) in Brooklyn, NY. Each of those steps were crucial in creating the woman she is today. Currently, she works at the United Nations.

Ultimately, Rossana Rossi is an artist who thinks with her hands. Cooking, knitting, coloring, making herbal medicine, and studying the martial arts is how she currently maintains her balance.
